About the Team:

To help us achieve our mission, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager.

About the role:

The Business Development Manager role will help to meet Nationwide sales and market expansion goals through creation of new business opportunities and support of existing accounts.

In addition, they will help develop the overall sales team within certain geographies through mentorship, team-selling and other opportunities.

The Business Development Manager will accomplish the following:

  • Develop new customers and new initiatives for existing customers
  • Act as a first point of contact for select key accounts/partners in North America.
  • Develop and maintain a customer and prospect database with the ability to report as needed
  • Develop, expand, and maintain the reseller and partner channel, create cross- and deep-sell opportunities
  • Create and execute account sales plans
  • Support clients, partners, and team-mates in sales activities
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
  • Build lasting and strong relationships with partners and customers and keep knowledge of clients' business goals up to date
  • Closely coordinate company executive and internal subject matter expert involvement with partner and end-user customer management as appropriate
  • Respond to and follow up sales and information inquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits
  • Create appropriate propositions, presentations and contracts based on sales plans

About you:

Education/Experience requirements

  • 3+ years experience in working with distributors and/or an indirect sales mode and experience with short sales cycles
  • 3+ years experience managing key accounts
  • 1+ years experience developing/closing large direct customers (longer sales cycle)
  • Experience with B2B sales
  • Experience with sales CRM(s)
  • Experience in different sales techniques
  • Experience and relevant within the EV charging industry preferred
