Who we are looking for:
As Business Development Manager, France you will focus on sales activities within the French Market. Responsible for sales to large direct accounts, in order to meet sales quota. Create new business opportunities and nurture existing partners and customers.

Focus areas, main duties and responsibilities


Develop and maintain a customer and prospect database
Develop, expand and maintain the reseller and partner channel, create cross- and deep-sell opportunities
Create and execute account plans
Support clients in sales activities
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from marketing activities
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
Build lasting and strong relationships with partners and customers and keep client knowledge up-to-date
Closely coordinate company executive involvement with partner and end-user customer management as appropriate
Respond to and follow up sales and information enquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits
Focus on developing new customers and new initiatives for existing customers
Create appropriate propositions based on sales- and acquisition plans
Participate in creating successful implementation plans of new business initiatives and grandfather them in the sales processes


Develop and maintain sales tools, training and other instruments to ensure successful sales
Organize product – and sales training
Develop new sales strategies and evaluate these
Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts

Sales Organization

Provide sales forecasts
Analyse and anticipate on market developments from a commercial point of view
Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information

Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties

Job Requirements



Bachelor/Master level
5-10 years experience in working in sales (direct or indirect sales model) and experience with short sales cycles
Experience with B2B sales or indirect channel management experience
Experience with sales CRM
Experience in different sales techniques


In-depth knowledge or willingness and ability to quickly acquire knowledge about EV charging market
Affinity with renewable technologies, product and service innovation


Effective inter-cultural communication skills
Hands-on mentality;
Commercial insight;
Outgoing mindset and ability to build a network;
Self starter with commercial mindset and hands-on mentality;
Ability to make market positioning and value proposition tangible;
Speak customer, sales and business partner language
Verbal and written communication skills in French (native level) and English, including experience in high-level business discussions & negotiations.
