Our expanding business is looking for a Business Development Representative to develop new business opportunities for the (country) market. EVBox is growing enormously internationally and is setting future benchmarks for the EV charging industry.

Get to know the team

As Business Development Representative you will focus on sales activities within the DACH region. You will work from home and/or from our office in Germany and you will report to the Regional Sales Director DACH.

What you'll be doing…

Sales Activities

  • Identify and win new business opportunities
  • Promote and sell EVBox charging solutions (hardware and software)
  • Qualify and convert leads into new opportunities following defined qualification criteria
  • Clarify and develop best charging solutions in cooperation with presales engineers, marketing and other internal stakeholders to offer the best EV charging solutions to customers
  • Represent and present EVBox and its solution to existing and new business partners
  • Host webinars and workshops
  • Build relationships with key customer contacts and make EVBox the preferred partner
  • Revenue and product forecasting via Salesforce
  • Collaborate with Global Industry Segment Leaders and Marketing to develop and customize industry segment(s) focused value propositions
  • Develop and maintain a customer and prospect database
  • Act as a first point of contact of distributors, partners and resellers
  • Develop, expand and maintain the reseller and partner channel, create cross- and deep-sell opportunities
  • Develop and implement new sales strategies
  • Be an advisor for your accounts on all aspects of EV Charging and the product and service portfolio
  • Increase the business potential of each sales channel under your control by closely supporting, communicating, coaching and building up strong relationships with the decision-making stakeholders of customers and partners

Key Account Management

  • Provide product and service advice to existing and new customers
  • Strategic sales and business development
  • Sales related project management
  • Achieve revenue targets for the DACH market

Customer Journey Process

  • Optimize the sales processes within the customer journey
  • You'll be leaving your mark in this important field for a sustainable future.

What you'll bring to the team

Technical Skills/ Hard Skills

  • Bachelor's degree ( business, administration, economics or similar) or apprenticeship in a sales or business development capacity
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in sales or business development
  • Knowledge of working with CRM systems, especially Salesforce is a plus
  • Experience in short sales cycles is a plus
  • Perfect German and fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel in DACH region We want you to demonstrate
  • You show affinity with renewable technologies, product and service innovation
  • Highly reliable and detail oriented
  • In-depth knowledge of or willingness to quickly acquire knowledge of the EV industry
