What you'll be doing
You will be responsible for the quality and conformity of products manufactured on site and establishing sufficient control of all processes on site relating to production, logistics and distribution. You will work from our office in Libertyville and report to the Director Manufacturing Libertyville.

Your main responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:

In terms of health and safety, anticipate and nullify all risks to health and safety on site in collaboration with the management team and work force. Prevention being the focus.

Contribute to the creation and application of relevant procedures necessary to guarantee business process and product conformity.

Oversee the inspection and control of incoming materials, production processes and finished product.

Play a strong role in the improvement of operations processes, the organization and product production.

By anticipating quality risks associated with human intervention, part non-conformity, design weakness, etc. drive the process of continuous improvement throughout the business.

With the approval of the plant steering committee, assist with the creation of and the promotion of the site safety policy.

Ensure adherence to all rules and regulations at the site relating to hygiene, safety and environmental protection

What you'll bring to the team

A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing/production setting related to quality

Experience with safety processes and procedures is a strong plus

Effective communicator and influencer

Methodical and organized

Able to take responsibility and to take initiative

Team orientated

Knowledge of ERP is required, with SAP experience being a strong plus
