We are looking for an IT Operations Specialist who will be the initial point of contact for the reporting of all IT service requests and act as a point of escalation for IT incidents. The role will be an integral part of our IT department in Amsterdam, servicing our fast growing EVBox organisation globally and reporting to the IT Operations Manager.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Day-to-day IT operations:

  • 1st& 2nd line support for all IT related incidents and service requests
  • User & Authorisation Management
  • Workstation, Phone & Printer support in Bordeaux and remote support of other offices
  • Performance management of the network and infrastructure
  • Provide end user training & education on new solutions as well as IT best practices
  • Identify ways to innovate through better use of existing and new technologies

Primary operational contact for IT service partners:

  • Maintain technical level relationship with partners
  • Operate and manage the Cloud providers service dashboards
  • Guard & act on the service level agreements with our partners
  • On-and Off boarding employees on IT equipment and authorisation:
  • Prepare laptops and phones (both Apple & Windows devices)
  • Initiate, maintain and archive user accounts with Cloud providers

Security & asset management:

  • Control security measures and implement procedures based on company guidelines, security and privacy requirements
  • Maintain and update the asset-management system, perform license management & control for compliance reasons
  • Maintain and keep devices and applications up-to-date and secure

Project support:

  • Act as a single point of contact for IT requirements and activities in case of expansion or relocation projects


  • Experience of providing technical IT support in an office environment
  • Good knowledge of hardware/software installs and maintenance
  • Experience of providing technical support for both Apple and Windows devices and mobile device management via InTune and Jamf
  • Knowledge of Cloud based SaaS computing: Okta, Box, Slack, Gsuite and Office365, Apple and Microsoft based computing hosted environments
  • Microsoft Certified Professional or other certifications (preferred)
  • Comfortable in collaborating with globally distributed and multicultural teams
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
