We're looking for a VP of Sales Support

As VP of Sales Support, you will be leading the sales support teams within the Commercial function within EVBox. The sales support teams include Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Sales Operations and Bid Management. You will be responsible for developing capable teams, building scalable processes and structures and act as a key interface to leadership in Operations and Technology/Product management functions. As part of the Commercial leadership team, you will be a key driver of our very ambitious growth in the years to come.

The sales support function includes:

Bid management:

  • Support sales teams in building competitive responses to RFx, Bid writing and bid project management
  • Preparation of technical sales materials including collateral, project plan and solution proposals.

Solutions Engineers:

  • Presales support (incl product configuration support, technical product and market expertise in bids
  • Technical trainings (non-revenue generating) to sales teams and partners
  • Maintain and increment technical/commercial assets for Sales
  • Product/roadmap and market feedback to Product Management

Sales Operations:

  • Order administration (clean data transfer)
  • Hardware/service delivery coordination
  • Improve and embed improvements in the "opportunity to invoice" processes and systems

Customer Success:

  • Onboarding of large accounts and implementation of large complex deals, together with (regional) sales teams and other functions
  • Onboarding of Everon PaaS accounts and implementation of contracts
  • Support regional sales teams with setting up Customer/Partner/Channel Success function

Your key responsibilities will consist of:

  • Develop and (internally) sell the Sales Support vision
  • Together with Commercial leadership, set quarterly priorities, clearly communicate expectations/targets and track progress within Sales Support functions
  • Build strategic relationships with key business partners in Operations and Technology/Product management, offer support
  • Mentor and coach the team managers of Customer Success, Solution Engineering, Sales Operations and Bid management.
  • Together with the team managers, develop capable teams and organize work
  • Ensure industry leading Sales support processes and execution

Requirements:

Qualification/Experience:

  • Min 10 years of experience in Sales or Sales Support
  • Executive leadership skills
  • Experience in industry(/ies) combining sales/delivery of both hardware, software and services
  • Proven ability to identify and implement best practices in Sales and Sales Support
  • Maintain personal effectiveness and people focus under pressure
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree

General skills:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) and additional knowledge of other European language is preferred
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office and CRM (preferably Salesforce.com)
