Who We're Looking For

Our Industrialization Team is the key point of contact for our partners, as well as EVBox' cross-functional teams: product management, hardware and software engineering teams, quality, and operations. As a Senior Industrialization Engineer you will take an important role in the successful introduction of new and existing products to contract manufacturing partners. You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of new product integrations and the alignment on, as well as release of, Technical Data Packages.

Responsibilities

  • Manage/introduce new or existing products to new or existing Contract Manufacturer Partners
  • Ownership of C-sample phase of product development (Industrialization phase)
  • Process development: translating product and design requirements to process requirements
  • Writing or reviewing PFMEA
  • Key player in Continuous Improvement Process, between and together with Engineering and Sustaining
  • Work with Contract Manufacturer Partners, Quality, Development and Sustaining department(s) on process implementation and verification - PPAP
  • Writing or reviewing SOPs
  • Writing or reviewing production test requirements
  • Validation of production samples, processes and tests
  • Manage/introduce product improvements at Contract Manufacturers via clear change management procedures.
  • Acquire product expertise from the organization to represent Technical Data Package (TDP) to Contract Manufacturers.
  • Prepare and guide a fluid product handover to Sustaining Engineering

Requirements

  • Minimum BSc degree in technical field, Electrical, Electronics or Electro-Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing engineering, Process Engineering, Automotive Engineering, R&D Engineering or NPI Engineering in high volume hardware (electronics or mechanical) manufacturing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch is a plus
  • Valid driving license. Willing and ability to travel (up to 20%)

Experience in...

  • Setting up assembly lines, line balancing, MES systems, TAKT time calculations
  • Product test systems. End of Line, FVT, AOI test systems
  • Reviewing, creating PFMEA, Process flow charts
  • Lean Six Sigma Methodology
  • Working with contract manufacturers and component suppliers
  • DFM, DFA, DFT
  • Engineering Change Management process
  • Working with a PLM system

Any of the following is a plus:

  • Experience in the EV industry, automotive or electrical industry
  • Knowledge of tooling, molding
