Get to know the team

As a Senior technical Project Manager based in the Amsterdam office you will be part of the Support and Field services - Project Management team that is responsible for our customer satisfaction by leading technical projects on their infrastructures with making the best use out of EVBox's solutions and services and by building a strong relationship as a trusted advisor.

You will join our highly skilled, driven and friendly Project Management team to help us with our global mission to provide a best-in-class next generation portfolio of electric charging stations and related services. Our team members are dynamic, proactive and take pride in making partners successful and customers happy EVBox fans.

There is a high level of autonomy and freedom in this role for you to shape our organisation's way of working. Whilst we have some foundations set up and a team to spar with, we very much welcome you to challenge the status quo and pave the way for driving our projects to the next level.

What you'll be doing

You will work on frictionless governance and execution of projects, agreements, Scope of Works with Multinational customers. You will work from our office in Amsterdam and report to the Director of Program Management.

Your main responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to

Output Objectives

  • Taking ownership of and acting as the first technical & project point of contact for our customers, to use your relationship and project management skills to manage complex stakeholder environments. Ensuring alignment of scope, requirements, timeline and budget with them
  • Creating project plans, scope, risks, ressources, timeline and budget, coordinating different schedules between quality, technology and operations, as well as external partners to ensure achievement of customer milestones and deliverables
  • Overseeing the management of the largest priorities, milestones and risks of the projects, whilst deep diving into any issues to come up with creative solutions with colleagues and partners to keep the projects on track
  • Frequent liaison with internal and external departments to present results and messaging around solid proposals and solutions.
  • Well functioning Customer Centricity and Delivery functions to attract new customers, nurture our actual customers and prioritize churn mitigation. Frictionless execution of projects with multi-national service partners, and Issue management in order to prevent escalations

Technical Project Management

  • Managing end to end hardware and software implementation and migration projects
  • Communicating project expectations and goals, scope,schedule, budget, resources, risks and timeline, as well as project updates with internal/external stakeholders (customers, team members, project sponsors), reporting of financial accruals and actuals
  • Providing tactical approach/strategy for project implementation on-time and budget
  • Maintaining a strong partnership with internal and external stakeholders in order to fully understand the business needs, ensuring on-time delivery of project & services. Setup, manage and maintain a set of projects timelines and budget in ERP/PM tool.
  • Processing development: contribute to the construction and delivery of requirement, SOW, Project Management, deliverable templates. Identify challenges affecting feasibility and timeline for execution, provide creative and resourceful solutions to ensure project delivery without delays or compromises related to scale or customer experience

Partnership Governance

  • Providing leadership for these projects through formal governance roles, e.g. on steering committees, by building/maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders across the organisation. Managing the internal stakeholders through influencing, convincing and escalation. Managing external stakeholders in the partner ecosystem by influencing, convincing and focusing on execution according service agreements and gain approval for plans and actions
  • Develop and maintain KPI based progress reporting from ecosystem partners and EVBox teams and embed these in customer facing KPI progress reporting. Well functioning governance structure based on KPI's and regular progress meetings with our customers
  • Act as the Single-Point-Of-Contact (SPOC) for all parties involved
  • You'll be leaving your mark in this important field for a sustainable future

What you'll bring to the team

Technical Skills/ Hard Skills

  • Completed master degree in Technology (Mechanical / Electrical Engineering), Business Administration
  • At least 8 years working experience with the B2B market, preferably in EV Charging Solutions.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Certification from a recognised professional body e.g. PMI, IPMA.
  • Strong Customer Support & Services mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes
  • Relevant infrastructure project management experience with a track record for ramping up new rollouts for EPC companies, field service organizations.
  • Strong resource management, financial management and budget management skills

We want you to demonstrate

  • A deep understanding and first-hand experience of traditional waterfall and agile project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of the operating models, technical architectures, solution components used in the eMobility is required
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English, French being a strong plus
  • Highly structured and organised and resilient under pressure
  • Several years of experience of working on AC and DC products and projects in the assigned domain

  • Keen interest in electric vehicles and energy systems
  • Experience with adding structure, methods and creating new processes & procedures
  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile (plus)
