About the role

As Manager, Global Education Services your main responsibility is to grow the Education Services department into a profitable and valuable asset to EVBox Group.


In this position you will secure EVBox Group as the partner of choice for our clients via the standard and custom commercial educational proposal, which will insure the partner's confidence and safety while working with our products. As a result of these efforts, you will aim to reduce the pressure on level 1 & 2 customer support, maximize customer satisfaction and minimize warranty claims through improving the knowledge of the technicians. You will manage a team of 7 people, of which 5 direct reports. The team consists of Instructors (US, NL, POR, GER), eLearning developers, and training coordinator.


Main responsibilities include

PRACTICE MANAGEMENT

  • Introduce and Manage Education Service's KPIs
  • Create and implement SMART processes that are error prone
  • Educate the organization on "best-practices" in professional training
  • Collaborate with other departments like NSI, NPI, Sales, Customer Support, etc. to improve after-sales processes and ensure the quality of partner onboarding
  • Serve as the main contact for the customer on large or critical projects; maintain and grow relationships; act in the role of the "trusted advisor."

LEADERSHIP & PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:

  • Ensure the health and safety of team members
  • Manage team workload and monitor team's job performance, growth and wellbeing whilst providing coaching, counselling and motivation to maximize performance
  • Assist in resolving conflicts and removing blockers
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Introduce an educational services team recognition program
  • Recruit, hire and onboard to expand team

SETUP EDUCATION SERVICES GLOBAL:

  • Create a medium- and long term business plan and growth strategy
  • P&L management, supported by your Manager and by the Finance department
  • Ensure the division's visibility and importance in the organization
  • Integrate industry knowledge into practical sales-related tactics, techniques and procedures to improve the current selling process of commercial and off-the-shelf trainings
  • Introduce the 'Certified Partner Community'

MANAGE AND GROW OUR GLOBAL CUSTOMER ACADEMY:

  • Manage the team's development roadmap - high quality custom products that are on-time and in-budget
  • Manage Customer Academy's processes via SOPs, SOW, TNA, etc.
  • Release custom training proposal and promote through catalog, brochures (RFI/Q/P)
  • Platforms and tools optimization
  • Participate in early deal negotiations & support quotation

MANAGE AND GROW OUR GLOBAL PARTNER ACADEMY:

  • Managing the team's development roadmap via RACI matrix (gap analysis)
  • Manage Partner Academy's processes via SOPs & TNA, etc.
  • Ensure the visibility of competencies of certified partners
  • Release off-the-shelf trainings and promote them through our catalog & brochures (RFI/Q/P)
  • Become a gate for NPI & NSI
  • Provide instructional design for partner facing materials such as manuals, guides, reports, diagrams, etc.
  • Maintain training hub in Netherlands (Amsterdam)
  • Open and maintain training hub in Germany and France
  • Localize content for key markets (Germany, France, Netherlands, US)

What you'll bring to the team

  • Minimum 5 years experience in learning commercial (Educational/training) Services
  • Minimum 5 years experience leading small team(s)
  • Extensive knowledge of learning principles, digital as well as instructor led and blended
  • Great IT skills in following areas specifically knowledge of: Microsoft PPT, Excel, Word. LMS (talentlms preferred), eLearning design tooling, recording tooling (camtasia)
  • Full english language proficiency
  • Some experience having dealt with P&L
  • High customer centric mindset
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Structural and processed thinking
  • Strong organizational skills
