Get to know the team
As a Legal Operations Specialist, based in Amsterdam office, you will be part of the Legal & Compliance team that is a young, dynamic and internationally diverse team that works close to the business. It provides high-quality advice to the management and business divisions of the EVBox Group around the world. The team advises on a broad range of matters, including product liability, contract law, corporate law, IP and IT law, brand protection, competition law, environmental law and regulatory matters.

What you'll be doing
You will work on building inclusive, scalable, cooperative human and digital systems, supporting the Legal & Compliance team in servicing their stakeholders . You will work from our office in Amsterdam and report to the Managing Counsel, Projects & Operations.

Your main responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:
  • generally supporting the Managing Counsel, Project & Operations in creating, implementing and maintaining operational processes to increase the team's efficiency and productivity
  • helping to define and drive strategic and operational initiatives with on-time and on-budget results
  • helping to enforce processes and policies within the Legal & Compliance team
  • preparing data analysis to finance and accounting departments that explains, categorizes, and justifies legal department spend
  • help maintaining a corporate records and document database system, and looking for ways to improve current systems
  • researching and providing data to prepare documents for review and presentation by boards of directors, committees, and executives
  • assist with annual budgeting, internal reporting and corporate secretarial matters
  • preparing financial statements, presentations, reports, memos, and other documents
  • providing general administrative support

What you'll bring to the team
Technical Skills/ Hard Skills
  • excellent MS Office knowledge
  • great verbal and written communication skills
  • LegalTech & LegalOps-savvy: proficient in legal terminology, document management systems, contract management, billing tools and overall legal enterprise software, experience with business intelligence tools is preferred
  • At least 1-3 years' work experience in a support or operations role with a legal department
  • ability to implement procedures and practices within a department to promote efficient workflows and handling of legal requests throughout the organization
