The Learning Management System Administrator provides technical leadership in the support of Talent Learning Management System (TLMS). This position is responsible for the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and other resources used for instructional functions along with the Instructional Designer when needed. The Learning Management System Administrator is the primary system administrator for TLMS and oversees the installation of all system updates and upgrades, as well as tools and softwares integrated with the LMS. Work is performed under the supervision of the Training Coordinator, Manager of education services and EVBox L&D department.
Supports the configuration of the TLMS according to requirements.
Works on assignments dealing with the routine and daily operation, use, and configuration of TLMS.
Manages community areas within the LMS including functionality, appearance, tabs, and settings.
Identifies and communicates opportunities for process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, defects, and suggested enhancements to reduce repetitive or error-prone human work.
Acquires and maintains knowledge of current technology as it applies to LMS software and systems.
Writes and maintains LMS procedures and policy documentation to ensure the security and integrity of systems/networks.
Collaborates with Education Services team members on training needs and opportunities for the Customers.
Collaborates with the L&D team on training needs and opportunities for the expansion of talent development within the organization.
Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing data and recommending solutions to utilize the LMS to deliver, track training and measure performance to meet organizational objectives.
Creates and updates resources to train and support learners on how to use the technology for online and professional development.
Develop reports in alignment with the KPI's, and manages (automated) distribution of the reports.
Uses reports to spot improvements for LMS, and proactively highlights opportunities to improve operational areas of Education Services, and L&D department.
Creates user logins as needed and assigns user permissions and authorizations.
Manages expiration date extensions.
Creates and manages user structures including the creation of user groups and learners journeys.
Manages course enrollment including progress tracking.
Publishes and archives online or blended learning solutions, assigns training curricula according to learners journeys, adds and deletes resources.
Works with the Education services and L&D teams to manage the course asset library.
Populates course information and assigns learners.
Manages the expiration dates of the courses and certifications.
Develops and updates standardized tools and reporting data for ongoing access to learning information; generates standard and custom reports as requested
Analyzes reporting data and recommends strategic direction to HR, Education Services management and team, or others, as appropriate.
Creates and manages the overall course structure and sets up course programs based on specifications from the Instructional Designer and Training Coordinator.
Manages tracking of course revisions and history.
Builds online assessments and evaluations in LMS for courses as required by the Education Services team.
Manages relationship with TLMS vendor.
Provides troubleshooting assistance for users regarding logging in to the LMS and accessing courses.
Troubleshoots and resolves issues relating to system functionality and software systems.
Serves as a point of escalation for support issues, which may include interaction with
TLMS vendor and other vendors of support services.
Reviews and monitors system performance.
Works with the Training Coordinator and Instructional Designer to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to accessing the LMS and course content.
Minimum of 3 years' experience as an LMS administrator or in similar position
Technical skills including troubleshooting, and understanding of directory, file structures, and systems
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve LMS related technical issues
Ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organization as well as vendors
Ability to gain new technical skills quickly
Customer service skills, responsive attitude, ability to work in a team
Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts in layman's terms
Coursework and/or certifications relating to learning management system administration preferred
Social media or knowledge management experience
Familiarity with course design and development
Mandatory language: English
