Get to know the team
As an ITGC SOx Lead/specialist based in Amsterdam office you will be working with the Group IT team and Internal Control , and you will be responsible for designing testing and continuously improving IT processes and IT General Controls (ITGC) for SOx compliancy.

What you'll be doing

Together with management, you will work on ensuring the IT General Controls are working effectively, risks are timely identified and mitigated, remediations are managed and tracked timely, and all are documented in an audit proof manner to meet regulatory SOX requirements for EVBox group.

You will assist in the annual scoping and planning process for ITGC SOx , which includes assessing financial statement risk and mapping key processes, systems and accounts to build EVBox's IT General Control (ITGC) environment and annual SOX plan and, developing and providing routine training as needed to control owners and ensure a thorough understanding of EVBox's IT SOx program, control design, and the impact of their control(s) on EVBox's financial statements

Your main responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:

Ensuring the ITGC's operate effectively to meet regulatory SOX requirements

Identity risks and design controls to manage these

Oversee the ITGC elements of SOX compliance testing activities

Be the point of Contact for ITGC activities for internal and external stakeholders.

Continuous evaluation and improvement of ITGC effectiveness.

Support management with implementing an effective control environment

Coordinate the IT part of internal and external audits

Assist in rolling out of Enterprise Risk management

Take ownership of remediations that come out of ITGC testing

Serve as subject matter expert and advise on the implementation and monitoring of comprehensive plans for IT SOX oversight of relevant enterprise and IT initiatives

Review and update IT process documentation for accuracy and completeness; manage and track remediation projects

Configure and/or administer IT SOX modules of cloud-based governance, risk and compliance (GRC) tool.

What you'll bring to the team

Technical Skills/ Hard Skills

Master or Bachelor in IT or finance related study

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with ITGC in SOX environment

CISA, CISM or CRISC Certification (or the willingness to obtain this within a year)

Experience implementing IT controls in a SOX environment

Knowledge of internal control and compliance frameworks (specifically COSO, COBIT, SOX) and hands-on experience applying the frameworks to design controls that are operationally effective across multiple compliance programs in cloud-based IT environments

Experienced in embedding test approach in IT change processes and projects

Advanced ability in analyzing IT risk and designing efficient controls to minimize risk

Knowledge on SAP GRC

Fluent in English
