We're looking for Interim Technical Project Managers to join our team in Amsterdam for 3 months.


This is a great opportunity to join us on our mission to make this world more sustainable through directly supporting some of our key customers with their adoption of electric mobility solutions. You will guide them to install best in class electric charging infrastructure around the world. This is a cleaner, more sustainable future and one that is not fully defined yet.


To be successful in this role you should be feel comfortable with the idea of project management and the coordination of multi-national technical projects through the ecosystem of EVBox service partners. We aim to ensure customer satisfaction with high quality, in-time deliveries.

Get to know the team

As an Interim Technical Project Manager based in the Amsterdam office you will be part of the Support & Field Services Project Management team that is responsible for our customer satisfaction. You will lead technical projects on customer infrastructures by making the best use out of EVBox's solutions and services and by building a strong relationship as a trusted advisor.


You will join our highly skilled, driven and friendly Project Management team to help us with our global mission to provide a best-in-class next generation portfolio of electric charging stations and related services. Our team members are dynamic, proactive and take pride in making partners successful and customers happy EVBox fans.


To be successful in this role we expect you to build effective relationships with our customers, become an expert on our product portfolio whilst driving highly effective projects for them.


This may only be an interim opportunity, but there is a high level of autonomy and freedom in this role for you to help shape our future way of working. Whilst we have some foundations set up and a team to spar with, we very much welcome you to challenge the status quo and pave the way for driving our projects to the next level. There will be Senior Project Managers available to support you with this.


What you'll be doing

You will work on frictionless governance and execution of projects, agreements, Scope of Works with Multi-national customers. You will work both remotely and from our office in Amsterdam and report to the Director of Program Management.


Your main responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:

Output Objectives

  • Frictionless execution of projects and programs with Multi-national service partners
  • Well functioning governance structure based on KPI's and regular progress meetings with our customers
  • Issue management in order to prevent escalations
  • Well functioning Customer Centricity and Delivery functions to attract new customers, nurture our actual customers and prioritize churn mitigation

Project Management

  • Tactical approach/strategy for project implementation
  • Identify challenges affecting feasibility and timeline for execution, and provide creative and resourceful solutions to ensure project delivery without delays or compromises related to scale or customer experience
  • Process development
  • Strong resource management, financial management and budget management skills
  • Project budget, schedule, reporting of accruals and actuals

EPC Governance

  • Provide leadership for these projects through formal governance roles, e.g. on steering committees, and by building and maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders across the global organisation
  • Manage the many internal stakeholders through influencing and convincing and escalation if and when required
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders in partner ecosystem by influencing, convincing and focusing on execution according service agreements and gain approval for plans and actions
  • Develop and maintain KPI based progress reporting from ecosystem partners and EVBox teams and embed these in customer facing KPI progress reporting
  • Act as the Single-Point-Of-Contact (SPOC) for all parties involved

What we'd like you to bring to the team


Technical Skills/ Hard Skills

  • At least 5 years working experience with the B2B market, preferably in EV Charging Solutions. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Preferred certification from a recognised professional body e.g. PMI, IPMA
  • Strong Customer Support & Services mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes
  • First experience with infrastructure project management experience, ramping up new rollouts for EPC companies, field service organizations

We want you to demonstrate

  • A deep understanding and first-hand experience of traditional waterfall and agile project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of the operating models, technical architectures, and solution components used in the eMobility is required
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English, French being a strong plus
  • Structured and organised and resilient under pressure

  • Ability to travel (domestic & international), up to 40%
  • Keen interest in electric vehicles and energy systems
  • Experience with adding structure, methods and creating new processes & procedures
