Whom we're looking for

We're looking for a seasoned brand and communications manager that has a proven track record of over seven years in brand marketing, brand management, and customer-facing communications. Our ideal candidate thrives on managing long-running, complex projects that involve data reporting and analyses; organization and maintenance of guidelines, procedures, and assets; training of multi-disciplinary departments; and liaising with executive-level stakeholders.

As our Head of Brand & Communications, you'll define and guard the perception of EVBox today and into the future, while guiding a team of project managers, designers, copywriters, and communication specialists, as well as managing the successful (cross-department) implementation of initiatives designed to retain and increase the interest of prospects, customers, and partners in their journey with EVBox.

What you'll be doing

Your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Brand marketing and management:

  • Oversee the successful global and regional implementation of EVBox's positioning internally and externally
  • Provide direction, briefings, and reviews for product-, demand-gen, PR, CSR, and employer branding campaigns
  • Implement training, guidelines, and/or workflows to ensure a correct application and execution of all branding and messaging across all departments
  • Manage product naming, trademarking, third-party usage of EVBox assets, and other IP related matters in liaison with the Legal department
  • Track and report on brand equity KPIs, and proactively liaise with stakeholders to forecast implications and improvements for brand marketing and brand management
  • Maintain asset libraries (Bynder and Salesforce) and internal knowledge management tools (Confluence) to ensure an updated and accurate application of all corporate assets and guidelines

Customer-facing communications:

  • Oversee the curation, distribution, and optimization of customer- and partner communications (i.e., newsletters, product updates, partner portal, and personal emails)
  • Define, implement, and report on feedback loops to initiate improvements for customer- and partner-facing communications
  • Optimize and implement a customer- and partner communications strategy in liaison with multiple departments and stakeholders to ensure information is communicated timely and accurately across the customer journey

Team management:

  • Oversee a successful operation of our in-house agency (Studio) and ensure an on-time, on-brief, on-budget, and on-brand delivery of all projects and requests
  • Oversee the maintenance of long-term relationships between EVBox, agencies, and vendors to ensure cost-efficient, consistent, and high-quality deliveries of outsourced projects
  • Provide recurring meetings, 360 performance reviews, onboarding, training, and day-to-day guidance to team members and stakeholders to ensure transparency, quality, and alignment
  • Proactively liaise with and inform stakeholders about prioritization, urgency, necessity, and progress of all projects and requests

What we ask from you

  • You're a (near-)native English speaker and you have flawless writing and editing skills in English
  • You're exceptionally organized, and you thrive on eliminating friction and inefficiencies among employees, and across channels and workflows
  • You have a way of activating people by being a patient listener and you know how to keep your head cool under the pressure of contrasting opinions and strict deadlines
  • You're able to provide recommendations and constructive feedback based on customer and market data
  • You can navigate your way around complex tools with your eyes closed (Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, HubSpot, SalesForce, or similar)
  • But we do want your eyes open because you have a meticulous eye for detail
  • You have a proactive, flexible, and can-do attitude towards everything that comes your way
  • You have a sixth sense about what makes people tick
  • You're at your best when working in collaborative, multicultural, and cross-functional teams
  • You have a university degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent
