We're looking for a Global Compensation & Benefits Manager to join our team in Amsterdam. To be successful in this role you should be passionate about designing and implementing a compensations & benefits strategy, in a scaling up environment. Be able to reliably design and implement a benefit strategy, set up and run the stock plans, manage and review full merit cycles with introduction of employer statements, develop and design a HR Dashboard for EMT and business leaders.

As a Global Compensation & Benefits Manager based in Amsterdam you will be part of the Human Resources team that is responsible for the design and implementation of the compensation and benefits strategy for employees in EMEA and North America.

What you'll be doing
You will work on designing and implements the compensation and benefits strategy, HR dashbord, merit cycle, benefit broker will be responsible for presenting reports to compensation committee. You will work from our office Amsterdam and report to the Director, HR Services.


Your main responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:
Design and Implementation

  • Active part in the design and implementation of the EVBox Total Rewards philosophy and strategy and the various key projects that follow from this
  • Manage, design and run the employee stock plan
  • Develop and design the full HR Dashboard for the EMT and business leaders
  • Manage various Total Rewards projects.

Improvements

  • Run, manage and review the Merit cycle from budget to final analysis providing recommendations and benchmarking data
  • Own the CDF and market data philosophy

Partnering with Stakeholders

  • Partner with internal stakeholders including EMT on all related Total Reward topics
  • Work with the People Operations team when rolling out new Total Rewards initiatives
  • Collaborate with our global broker
  • Quarterly reporting to the Board and Compensation committee
  • Advice in the conversations around compliance and local regulations when setting up new countries and revising policies

What you'll bring to the team

Technical Skills/ Hard Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in a compensation and/or benefits role
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or an emphasis on Human Resources preferred
  • Knowledge of local pay practices and statutory requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, time management, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization, decision-making, and planning skills.
  • A strong eye for business, and qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
  • A stellar ability to synthesize data to support decision-making
  • An ability for confidentiality and discretion
  • Confidence in your communication style, both verbal and written

If you have any of these, even better

  • Advanced excel skills and preferable BI skills
