Who we're looking for:

As our Business Development Manager, Global Markets you will focus on sales and account management activities across the regions of Asia-Pacific; Central, Eastern & Southeast Europe; Iberia; Italy; Middle East & North Africa, and other vibrant emerging markets. You will work from our office in Amsterdam and you will report to our Regional Director, New Markets.

Your daily activities will consist of:

Account management:

  • Own customer sales, profitability, and satisfaction
  • Lead relationships with existing key customers and partners throughout the sales cycle
  • Develop account plans and manage sales forecasts throughout the year
  • Develop, expand, and maintain the reseller and partner channel, create cross- and deep-sell opportunities
  • Develop and maintain sales tools, training and other instruments to ensure successful sales activities
  • Monitor and report account performance on a regular basis
  • Closely coordinate the involvement of company executives and support functions (e.g. operations, marketing, finance, legal) to ensure sustainable growth and customer satisfaction

Business Development:

  • Act as an advisor in the development of EV charging solutions with potential customers
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from marketing activities
  • Respond to and follow up sales and information enquiries by email, phone, and through personal visits
  • Create appropriate propositions based on sales- and acquisition plans
  • Develop new sales strategies and support the implementation of business models
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and negotiate sales contracts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in business administration or similar
  • Over 5 years experience in sales or business development
  • International and multi-cultural business experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably other European languages
  • In-depth knowledge or willingness to quickly acquire extensive knowledge of the electric mobility sector
  • Affinity with renewable technologies, product and service innovation
  • Self starter with commercial mindset and hands-on mentality
  • Speak customer, sales and "business partner language"
