As Business Development Manager your sales focus will be within the Benelux region and you'll report to the Regional Sales Director for Benelux. Obviously you'll regularly be visiting customer sites, as well as working from home, and joining us at our HQ in Amsterdam.

Exactly as you'd expect, you'll be identifying and winning new business and optimising all sales opportunities. That means promoting EVBox charging solutions, both hardware and software, by clarifying and developing the best charging solutions and working with our pre-sales engineers and marketing. It's a relatively short sales cycle. What will really help is to have a solid technical understanding of our products, so some kind of background in electrical / electronic engineering, whether academic or installation experience. You'll be using Salesforce, so exposure to that or other CRM systems will be necessary, as well as fluency in both English and French - you'll be traveling in Benelux afterall.

We expect to offer a base salary of somewhere around 50,000.00 euros, plus 30% OTE.

Sales Activities

  • Host webinars and workshops
  • Establishing EVBox preferred partner status
  • Revenue and product forecasting via Salesforce
  • Collaborate with Global Industry Segment Leaders and Marketing to develop and customize industry segment(s) focused value propositions
  • Develop and maintain a customer and prospect database
  • Act as a first point of contact of distributors, partners and resellers
  • Develop, expand and maintain the reseller and partner channel, create cross- and deep-sell opportunities
  • Develop and implement new sales strategies
  • Be an advisor for your accounts on all aspects of EV Charging and the product and service portfolio
  • Increase the business potential of each sales channel under your control by closely supporting, communicating, coaching and building up strong relationships with the decision-making stakeholders of customers and partners
