Who we're looking for

We're looking for a Brand & Comms Intern to join our marketing team at our

headquarters in Amsterdam. The intern will learn the fundamentals of corporate communications(50%) and brand management (50%), gain insight in the clean tech and sustainable mobility industry, and accelerate our market positioning as a global leader for EV charging solutions.

The internship has an ideal period of 6 to 8 months and the intern will report to the Head of Brand and Customer Comms, you'll be a part of the brand and comms team but working closely with the Corporate Communications team.

Responsibilities

Comms

• Support with organising and planning internal employee events and gatherings
• Taking, reviewing and editing photos to make sure our brand is illustrated in a cohesive way across all channels
• Putting effective and employee-centric communication into place (> e.g. taking responsibility for the screen on the ground floor - what's shown on it)
• Support in video filmings for employee communication (e.g. for the Monthly Miles) and coming up with ideas for Monthly Miles etc.
• Support in writing up press mailings to engage our media audience (if wanted to learn more about PR)

Brand

• Support with internal engagement with the EVBox brand
• Educate EVBoxers on the power of personal branding (LinkedIn training and tools)
• Support with production of internal brand workshops
• Support managing the relationship with other internal departments in the implementation of the brand strategy
• Support producing brand merchandise and managing the webshop
• Support for the production of large internal events
• Support on the management of external brand campaigns

Requirements

• As the role is focused heavily on coordinating with many different departments and external partners, excellent interpersonal skills and flexibility are a must
• Great organization skills (with proven examples), a quick learner and overall a lot of passion and energy to make an impact
• Possessing a basic understanding of marketing and communications
• Being self-confident, proactive, and detail-oriented are important prerequisites in being successful in this internship
• Language requirements: English (excellent proficiency written and spoken), another European language is a plus
• The internship has a duration of minimum 6-8 months
• Starting date: January 2023, available 40 hrs/week
• Must be enrolled in university for the whole duration of the internship (no thesis semester)
• Based in/or willing to travel to the office in Amsterdam or relocate to Amsterdam
