About EPEE

The European Partnership for Energy and the Environment (EPEE) is a Brussels-based trade association representing the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps (RACHP) sector across Europe. With 40 corporate and association members, EPEE advocates for sustainable, energy-efficient solutions at EU level. www.epeeglobal.org

The Role

At a pivotal moment for EU energy and climate policy, EPEE is looking for a dynamic Communications Officer to join our small, expert team in Brussels. Reporting directly to the Director-General, you will lead our communications strategy, manage our channels and content, and help position EPEE as the go-to voice on sustainable heating and cooling in Europe.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EPEE’s communications strategy, reviewed annually
  • Manage all communication channels: media, social media, website, newsletters, branding
  • Build EPEE’s thought leadership and relationships with EU decision-makers and opinion leaders
  • Support events, working group meetings, AGMs, webinars and symposiums
  • Collaborate with policy leads on key dossiers (approx. 20–23% of time dedicated to the Refrigerants Working Group)
  • Contribute to broader advocacy efforts — the list is not exhaustive and new responsibilities will arise as EPEE’s needs evolve

Your Profile

  • 2–4 years’ experience in communications, content or public affairs within the EU-Brussels landscape
  • Native-level English (additional EU languages a strong asset)
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills; ability to simplify complex policy topics
  • Genuine interest in energy, environment and EU affairs
  • EU citizenship or valid Belgian work authorisation

What We Offer

  • €2,800 – €3,100 gross/month depending on experience
  • Full-time position, hybrid working (Brussels)
  • A front-row seat on EU energy and climate policy
  • Direct collaboration with industry leaders and EU stakeholders

How To Apply

Send your CV and cover letter to c.demeyere@epeeglobal.org by 20 March 2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

EPEE is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in its workforce.
