These are the responsibilities: making an impact
- Support and implement the association’s advocacy and communication strategy
- Coordinate meetings (invitations, agenda settings, logistics, minutes) for eu.bac working groups and governance bodies
- Manage eu.bac website and social media (content, visuals, and monitor performance)
- Draft and edit policy papers, briefings, consultation responses, newsletters, and talking points for internal and external audiences
- Monitor, analyse, and brief members on relevant EU and national policy developments
- Advocate for eu.bac interests on energy efficiency, smart buildings, and sustainability
- Organise and represent eu.bac at events, conferences, and speaking opportunities
- Build and maintain a network of stakeholders aligned with eu.bac’s scope
- University degree in communications or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in communications and/or EU public affairs in Brussels (experience in an EU institution, trade association, or NGO is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with social media and website management and image editing tools
- Working knowledge of the building sector and/or energy efficiency is an advantage
- Familiarity with major EU energy and climate files (e.g. Fit for 55, REPowerEU, EPBD, EED, Ecodesign, Electricity Market Design) is a strong asset
- Strong communication, organisation, and networking skills; a self-starter with a can do attitude and conceptual working style
- Excellent English skills, another European language is plus
- Willingness to travel within europe
