In this role, you will:

  • lead the implementation of legislative changes which deliver on the objectives of the program of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving energy efficiency across Victoria.
  • initiate and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to progress delivery of project outcomes.
  • support industry stakeholders understand their responsibilities and obligations under the program through development of accessible program guidance material


Position details

This role will play a critical leadership role in shaping and advancing Australia's largest energy efficiency program. The role will be responsible for:

  • engaging with the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action to assess and influence legislative amendments to ensure that amendments will deliver on the program objectives
  • leading, and working with, various stakeholders in developing an effective regulatory and administrative framework for implementing changes to the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program
  • leading the development of program guidance for stakeholders of the program to educate them on their obligations and responsibilities under the VEU program

This is a fixed term 2 year position. The work location for this position is 570 Bourke Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
