Purpose of Role: The Production Planner plays a critical role in guiding and coordinating manufacturing operations to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, analyzing capacity and resource requirements, and collaborating across departments to align priorities. By providing accurate data, monitoring progress, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, the Production Planner ensures operational stability and contributes to meeting customer commitments while upholding safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain production schedules to support manufacturing operations and ensure timely delivery.
- Set up, monitor, and report key data elements for production control and efficiency.
- Generate accurate production reports using standardized formats and perform audits for compliance with specifications.
- Assist in managing production schedules, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to determine optimal manufacturing processes and requirements.
- Learn and apply process management and continuous improvement principles to create, standardize, and enhance workflows.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to meet operational goals.
- Participate in cross-departmental meetings to align efforts and maintain schedule adherence.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Preferred related Bachelors degree and knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts gained through at least 2 years experience.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the responsibilities above.
- Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, effective time management, adaptability in ambiguous situations, excellent communication skills, and ability to collaborate in a team environment
