We are seeking a full-time, hands-on Manufacturing Technician to join our Product Development team in Chandler, Arizona. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the assembly, testing, and process improvement of the ErthBot product line — robotic systems designed to clean and maintain utility-scale solar arrays (). This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys building, problem-solving, and optimizing processes. You will work closely with R&D, Product Development, and Quality teams to assemble production-ready ErthBots, create clear documentation, and ensure best-in-class manufacturing practices.Because this is an extremely hands-on position, this will be an in-office role working five days a week in our Chandler, Arizona development center. Assemble and test ErthBot robotic systems, applying strong mechanical and basic electrical knowledge. Develop and maintain clear assembly documentation, workflow instructions, and inspection procedures. Collaborate with Quality to establish ISO 9001–compliant inspection processes. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability. Support warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Provide accurate manufacturing data and feedback to cross-functional teams. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on assembly experience. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications / Bonus Points For Experience in a manufacturing or product development environment. Basic electronics troubleshooting (wiring, connectors, sensors). Familiarity with Lean / Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methods. Experience writing technical assembly or service documentation. ERP/MRP system knowledge (inventory or production tracking). Forklift certification (current or prior). Awareness of safety and EHS practices in a manufacturing setting. Location & Travel On-site at the Erthos Product Development Center in Chandler, AZ.
