Sustainability Executive (Renewable Energy - Solar) - HQ Based

Job Purpose: To manage the day-to-day operational and data management activities that underpin ERS Energy's sustainability performance across the Environment, Social, and Governance pillars. This role ensures that environmental data, ISO documentation, safety and social initiatives, and ESG operational support are executed reliably and on schedule, enabling strong reporting readiness and audit preparedness across the sustainability function.

Key Responsibilities:

Carbon Emissions & Environmental Data

• Calculate Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon emissions across HQ, warehouse, and project sites, covering transportation, combustion, electricity, and outsourced logistics.
• Consolidate and analyse emissions data on a monthly and financial year-end basis.
• Monitor and record water usage across operational sites.

Waste & Recycling Management

• Coordinate recycling waste collection at HQ and warehouse, and maintain waste data on the dashboard and project sites.
• Coordinate the recycling process for end-of-life solar panels with external recycling partners.

ISO Management Systems

• Maintain core ISO documentation, including the Environmental Aspects & Impacts Register, Environmental Objectives, Risk & Opportunity Register, and stakeholder/issues registers.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and Management Review Meetings.
• Coordinate external audits with certification bodies, including scheduling, preparation, and closing out findings.
• Support rollout of updated standards through staff awareness training, and contribute to expanding the internal auditor pool and ISO Committee.

Safety & Social Initiatives

• Support the HSE Committee with meeting participation and documentation.
• Manage and/or support wellbeing initiatives and employee engagements.
• Develop and maintain internal sustainability awareness content including campaigns and other engagement collateral
• Coordinate community engagement initiatives, including collaboration with universities, researchers, and external partners, and support sustainability-related events and sponsorship opportunities.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in sustainability, ESG operations, environmental data management, ISO management systems (strong fresh graduates in a relevant field will also be considered).
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 an advantage.
• Background in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Social Science or a related discipline preferred.
