The ideal candidate has hands-on experience helping banks embed sustainability into their core operations—such as lending, risk management, and investment strategies—and have successfully led projects that delivered measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex sustainability integration projects for banking clients, ensuring measurable business outcomes.
- Advice on climate, nature, and ESG strategies aligned with regulatory requirements and client agendas.
- Manage multi-stakeholder engagements across banking functions (risk, corporate & investment banking, sustainability teams).
- Drive business development: build strong client relationships, identify opportunities, and achieve sales targets.
- Apply data analytics and AI-driven solutions to manage sustainability risks and opportunities.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to thought leadership in sustainability for financial services.
- Proven expertise in sustainability-driven business integration or transformation with tangible results.
- Deep banking experience, ideally in corporate & investment banking.
- Strong understanding of regulatory landscapes across multiple markets.
- Technical foundation: environmental expertise (climate change, nature), project management skills, and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work across multiple functions and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Technologically fluent: experience applying data & analytics tools and leveraging AI solutions.
