Your challenge
As an Intern QHSE Systems, you will become part of a team that connects processes, data, technology and quality throughout the organisation. Together, we are building a future-proof management system that supports performance across all business processes.
During your internship, you will bring data to life and help teams work smarter every day.
What you will do
? Analyse data and translate insights into practical improvements
? Build dashboards and applications using Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate
? Support the optimisation of internal processes and workflows
? Explore innovative opportunities, including the application of AI, to strengthen our systems
? Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital tools and data quality
Your workplace
You will work from our headquarters in Rotterdam, overlooking the Maas, and join a close-knit team of six colleagues who support and challenge one another. The atmosphere is open, collaborative and focused on learning and development.
Our QHSE management system connects business processes across Van Oord and plays a crucial role in delivering quality and reliability worldwide. At the same time, we are exploring how new technologies can take our systems to the next level.
You will also have the flexibility and guidance to work on your school assignments while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional environment.
Who are we looking for?
You are curious, structured and eager to take ownership. You enjoy working with data and transforming insights into tangible improvements.
You are:
✔ Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field
✔ Looking for a third-year internship
✔ Available for a six-month internship starting in September 2026
✔ Experienced with Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate
✔ Comfortable communicating in both Dutch and English
