The European Onshore Power Supply Association is the premier not for profit professional organization bringing together top experts and stakeholders in the field of port electrification.

The Association’ mission is to promote the use of onshore power supply as a means of reducing air, noise and vibration pollution from ships, improving energy efficiency, and advancing the development of related technologies and standards.

Regrouping key and top experts, the association provides a platform for its members to exchange ideas, collaborate on projects, and stay informed of the latest developments and trends in the field. 

This includes regular meetings, conferences, and technical workshops, as well as the sharing of research and case studies.

The association also plays an advocacy role, working with government agencies and industry bodies to promote the adoption of onshore power supply and related policies and regulations.

By bringing together a diverse range of stakeholders, the association helps to ensure that the interests of different groups are represented and that the industry moves forward in a sustainable and responsible manner.


Purpose of the role:

To help EOPSA increase its impact in the fight against climate change.

The objective of this role is to support EOPSA’s communication, visibility, event and event storytelling, working closely with the President and the core team.

This is a high-exposure role, combining content creation, digital publishing and event planning across platforms. It is also designed as a learning role, offering close interaction with senior professionals, European networks, and real transformative policy and industry topics.


What you will do

Content, Communication & Digital Presence

• Create, curate, and publish content across EOPSA’s digital channels (LinkedIn, website, Instagram, wix, newsletters, and other formats as relevant).

• Ensure the website is regularly updated with news, articles, event outputs, and institutional content.

• Translate EOPSA topics into clear, accessible, and engaging narratives. Use AI to support.

• Contribute to defining editorial themes and communication priorities.

Event Storytelling & Publishing

• Support the preparation, digital positioning, and communication of EOPSA events.

• Develop storytelling before, during, and after events (posts, summaries, interviews, highlights, short videos).

• Work in coordination with external event organisers while maintaining EOPSA’s editorial voice.

• Help turn events into lasting digital content and learning assets.

Digital Tools, AI & Dissemination

• Use AI tools to support writing, editing, summarisation, translation, and content repurposing.

• Use digital dissemination, scheduling, and analytics tools to improve reach and engagement.

• Support lightweight growth and amplification strategies around key publications and events.

• Monitor performance and propose improvements adapted to a lean organisation.



Who this role is for

You don’t need to be perfect — curiosity matters more than ticking every box.

• 1–3 years of experience in communication, content creation, digital media, or a related field.

• Curiosity and more curiosity.. Stay tuned to trends and help the team adapt.

• Flavoured and accurate written communication skills and a clear sense of structure and narrative.

• Comfortable working with digital platforms and content management systems. Fast learner in digital flaws and pitfalls.

• Familiarity with AI tools and digital workflows, or strong curiosity to learn.

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with leadership and partners. A bit of entrepreneurial spirit will be a plus.

• Deep interest and commitment to sustainability and the fight against climate change. 


Languages:

  • English and French required
  • Dutch is a plus
