Envint helps businesses progress on their sustainability goals with offerings across multiple service lines, sectors and themes. We currently work with diverse clients in India and overseas, on sustainability integration, promoting responsible investment and facilitating climate action.


Role & Location:

We are looking for ESG consultants with 7-10 years of experience to join our Responsible Investment vertical in leadership and delivery roles. The ESG consultant would work closely with Clients (Investors and Portfolio companies) and lead/deliver engagements on ESG due diligences (ESG DD) & Impact assessments, ESMS roll outs & ESIAs.


The consultant may also work with corporate Clients and lead/deliver engagements on ESG integration, sustainability strategy/roadmaps and its implementation, footprinting, sustainability targets, decarbonization, sustainable supply chain and ESG disclosures/reporting.


The consultant would work closely with the Partners and other team members to help build and scale-up the business across multiple service lines and geographies.


Location: Multiple - Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Pune & Hyderabad will be considered.


Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading investor engagements on ESG due diligences (ESG DD) & Impact assessments, ESMS roll outs, ESIAs and ESG integration for portfolio companies
  2. Supporting new business development 
  3. Training and development of the delivery team
  4. Internal knowledge development in the areas of focus

Desired profile includes:

  1. Masters/Bachelors in Engineering, Sciences, Finance or Law
  2. Relevant experience, including client-facing roles and of managing teams
  3. Strong understanding of DFI requirements and global sustainability frameworks
  4. Orientation to engage with Clients and work as a team player
  5. Ability to structure thoughts, analyze data and communicate effectively
  6. An entrepreneurial outlook, willingness to take initiative/ownership, and a deep interest in sustainability!
