About The Role

Join Entura as a Water Engineer/Hydrologist and contribute to a diverse portfolio of water resource, hydrology and renewable energy projects. You'll undertake hydrological analysis, flood and climate studies, and water resource assessments while working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions for clients across Australia and internationally. This role offers the opportunity to apply technical expertise, develop project management skills, and support sustainable water and energy outcomes.

Salary range $ 114,282 - $146,935 plus super.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct hydrological analysis for flood studies, long term flow (catchment yield) assessments, flood forecasting and climate impact projects.
  • Assess hydro-meteorological data quality and provide reliable insights for project decisions.
  • Deliver accurate technical reports and recommendations that meet client and project requirements.
  • Manage project tasks, client communication, budgets and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical water resource solutions and support business growth.

Skills And Experience

  • Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, Environmental Science or similar.
  • Three to seven years of relevant post graduate experience.
  • Understanding of water hydrology, catchments, water cycle and water data.
  • Experience with design flood and long term flow (catchment yield) assessments in the Australian context.
  • Programming (ideally R and Python), numerical modelling and statistical analysis skills.
  • Consulting experience, GIS, climate or hydropower studies desirable.
