Electrical Engineer
Contract position - 6 months - 40 hours per week
$50-$60/hour W2
EIT or PE license required
Preference is hybrid 2 days per week onsite in Moon Township, PA, Portland, OR, or Tempe, AZ but this position is open to remote for exceptional candidates.
Position Summary:
Electrical Engineer supporting semiconductor manufacturing and R&D facility projects through design, layout, documentation, and startup support.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of electrical engineering experience
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
Preferred Skills:
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
Job Responsibilities:
- Support projects involving semiconductor manufacturing and research and development facilities
- Complete assigned routine electrical engineering tasks with accountability for schedule and technical quality
- Identify and communicate scope changes and design changes promptly
- Provide on-site assistance during startup activities
- Coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead
- Produce installation details
- Develop single line diagrams
- Create electrical room layouts
- Prepare motor control elementary diagrams
- Develop connection diagrams
- Generate cable schedules
- Create control panel layouts
- Produce grounding, lighting, and power plans
