Contract position - 6 months - 40 hours per week

$50-$60/hour W2

EIT or PE license required

Preference is hybrid 2 days per week onsite in Moon Township, PA, Portland, OR, or Tempe, AZ but this position is open to remote for exceptional candidates.

Position Summary:

Electrical Engineer supporting semiconductor manufacturing and R&D facility projects through design, layout, documentation, and startup support.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years of electrical engineering experience
  • Engineer in Training (EIT)
  • Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software

Preferred Skills:

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support projects involving semiconductor manufacturing and research and development facilities
  • Complete assigned routine electrical engineering tasks with accountability for schedule and technical quality
  • Identify and communicate scope changes and design changes promptly
  • Provide on-site assistance during startup activities
  • Coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead
  • Produce installation details
  • Develop single line diagrams
  • Create electrical room layouts
  • Prepare motor control elementary diagrams
  • Develop connection diagrams
  • Generate cable schedules
  • Create control panel layouts
  • Produce grounding, lighting, and power plans
