Your Main Responsibilities
- Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules;
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications;
- Conduct topographic, construction layout, and as-built surveys;
- Prepare survey deliverables, including reports and quantity takeoffs;
- Coordinate survey activities with project managers and engineers;
- Liaise with clients and contractors;
- Supervise and mentor junior survey staff;
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input;
- Ensure quality control and accuracy of survey data.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology;
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the New Brunswick Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (NBSCETT);
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant surveying experience;
- Proficiency with GPS, Total Station, and conventional survey equipment;
- Experience with Leica equipment is considered an asset;
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software;
- Solid understanding of construction methods and survey applications;
- Ability to manage and maintain survey equipment;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal);
- Self-motivated with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
