Our solutions utilize advanced machine learning and applied statistics to address weather-driven energy transition issues. We serve energy companies on six continents in more than 35 countries. Our services include forecasting of renewable energy production (from wind, solar and hydro), which is used by energy traders, big international energy companies and system operators all over the world. In addition, we also offer electricity consumption and price forecasts. As we are currently experiencing an increase in demand for our services, we are looking to hire Energy forecast Consultants to help design, implement and support power forecasting solutions for our clients. Areas of responsibility

• Serve as subject matter expert for new and existing customers to analyze and clarify needs and requirements, as well as performing data analysis of the customer’s data.
• Design and configure forecasting and optimization software solutions for customers – sometimes leading projects and sometimes supporting peers.
• Provide customer support for operational forecasting systems – ensuring that the systems operate effectively and with precision.
• Identify, develop and implement tools to improve the efficiency of our systems and processes. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of AI tools and help.
• shape how the team applies them in daily work.
• Work closely with Sales, IT and Development teams by providing technical expertise and feedback as well as introducing new software features to client installations.

The ideal candidate

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, energy, physics, meteorology, data science, IT, mathematics/statistics or similar field.
• Experienced in computer programming and knowledge about languages such as Python, R and Bash, as well as git for version control.
• Good organization or project management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage working on multiple projects at the same time without losing track of important details.
• Good written and spoken communication skills. Ability to communicate technical ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Takes initiative, drives and seeks continuous improvements both on the personal level as well as for the company.
• Strives at delivering high quality, and at the same time understands the importance of delivering results, finalize projects and find pragmatic solutions to complex problems.
• Has a flexible attitude, understanding various cultures and that the customers do not always know what they want and how to achieve what they need.
• Fluency in English. Additional languages are a plus.
