Role Overview


The Lead - Renewable Operations Centre will be responsible for supervising shift operations for global solar assets and ensuring smooth monitoring, data accuracy, and timely reporting. The role includes managing monitoring engineers during the shift, coordinating with field teams for issue resolution, and preparing performance reports.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage day-to-day operations of the monitoring shift (team of engineers/technicians).

· Ensure real-time monitoring of global solar plants via SCADA or monitoring platforms.

· Track alarms, generation losses, and downtime; escalate unresolved issues to site teams.

· Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

· Ensure shift handovers, issue logs, and escalation records are properly maintained.

· Monitor data accuracy and report any communication or system failures.

· Coordinate with site O&M teams and asset management for issue closure.

Required Skills & Competencies

· Good understanding of Solar PV system, BESS operations and monitoring platforms.

· Good understating of Solar PV, Wind and BESS performance metrics.

· Strong data handling and report preparation skills (Excel / Power BI preferred).

· Excellent coordination and communication abilities.

· Ability to lead a small team and maintain shift discipline.

· Analytical and problem-solving mindset.



Requirements

Qualification

· B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Energy, or related field.

· 3-5 years of experience in Solar PV monitoring, BESS, O&M, or asset management.

· Prior exposure to SCADA or remote monitoring systems is an advantage.

Performance Metrics

· Accuracy and timeliness of reports.

· Shift compliance and discipline.

· Response time to alarms and escalations.
