Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly driven and analytically strong professional to join our Corporate Development Team as Analyst. The ideal candidate will support the evaluation, development, and management of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS) across their lifecycle. The role requires collaboration with multiple internal functions and external stakeholders, along with strong financial modelling capabilities and a deep understanding of the Indian renewable energy market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project finance and cash flow models for renewable energy projects—such as Solar PV, Wind, and BESS—to assess profitability, equity returns, and key risks
- Maintain project assumptions documentation, return trackers, and tariff models
- Engage cross-functionally with Energy Origination/Markets, Business Development, Project Development, and Operations teams to develop comprehensive business insights and evaluate greenfield renewable energy projects across various technologies
- Assist in the assessment of Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) structures within utility-scale tender processes and the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sector
- Monitor and interpret trends in the Indian renewable energy market, including regulatory developments and policy frameworks, and assess their implications for project economics
- Support fundraising activities by maintaining internal and external data rooms and coordinating responses to investor due diligence requests
- Assist with internal and external reporting obligations, including preparing investor presentations, CIMS documentation, and Investment Committee (IC) materials
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently when necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's in finance, business, economics, engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of two years of financial modelling experience, preferably within renewable energy, infrastructure, investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting
- Strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Strong understanding and continuous learning regarding Indian power markets, relevant regulatory policies, and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) structures
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
