Role Summary:
The Site Manager will be responsible for overall site execution of utility-scale wind power projects in India. The role ensures safe, high-quality and timely execution of works in coordination with EPC contractors, OEMs, and local stakeholders, with strong focus on Quality and Safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Overall management of site execution covering civil, electrical, WTG erection and commissioning works.
• Act as single-point site representative coordinating EPC contractors and OEMs.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, quality plans and project schedules.
• Maintain strong quality control through inspections, adherence to ITPs and closure of NCRs.
• Maintain highest safety standard at site by enforcing HSE plans, conducting tool-box talks and ensuring statutory compliance.
• Handle local issues including land owners, villagers, RoW and local administration coordination.
• Monitor site progress and submit regular reports to the Project Manager.
• Support statutory inspections including CEIG, DISCOM and safety audits.
• Ensure smooth transition from construction to commissioning and handover to O&M.
• Hold daily site meetings to align the team on the plan.
• Ensure proper documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical)
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in wind or large infrastructure / power projects
- Extensive experience in EPC project sites with leadership responsibility
