The climate fiction writing support intern will assist in developing fictional content that integrates climate themes into accessible narratives. Work will involve writing, character development, research alignment, and content editing.

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

  • Developing fictional characters set within climate-related contexts such as energy transition, environmental change, resilience, or sustainability.
  • Assisting in writing climate fiction drafts including dialogues, scenes, short stories, and character arcs.
  • Translating climate concepts into relatable fictional scenarios informed by real-world climate challenges and solutions.
  • Reviewing and editing drafts for narrative clarity, consistency, and coherence across characters and story themes.
  • Contributing creative ideas related to story settings, plot development, and thematic framing based on climate developments.
