Business Research - Climate Tech Internship in Chennai

This internship is ideal for candidates passionate about business research, market and investment analysis, technology evaluation, and scientific innovations that accelerate global climate solutions. You will collaborate with experts from EAI and gain exposure to leading academic groups, contributing to high-quality insights in sustainability, climate tech, and emerging business trends.

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

• Conduct in-depth research on climate science, decarbonization technologies, and emerging innovations across renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy storage, electric mobility, sustainable agriculture, waste management, and low-carbon materials - evaluating them through the lens of business and market trends.
• Support technology assessments, investment analysis, and strategic reviews in collaboration with EAI experts and academic/research partners.
• Prepare structured reports, investment-oriented research summaries, and industry insights for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting commercial viability and strategic opportunities.
• Assist in organizing focused research meetings, expert discussions, and workshops with industry leaders, investors, and research faculty.
• Track market trends, competitive landscapes, business model innovations, and the commercial/investment potential of emerging climate technologies.
