  • Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate, driven, and intellectually curious Portfolio Manager with 5–7 years of experience to join our team. The role offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of energy, climate, and geopolitics, contributing to high-impact initiatives shaping global and Global South climate action agendas.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong research and writing capabilities, a keen interest in international climate and energy policy, and the ability to think strategically while working collaboratively.


  • Key Responsibilities


1. Research & Policy Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth research on cross-cutting issues in energy, climate, and geopolitics, including international climate and energy policies.
  • Track global developments and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Support development of knowledge products, reports, and policy briefs.


2. Strategic Support & Program Development

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of programs aligned with the Global South climate agenda.
  • Support strategic thinking across projects, identifying emerging opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive impactful and innovative solutions.


3. Portfolio & Project Support

  • Assist in managing project workflows, deliverables, and timelines across multiple initiatives.
  • Contribute to monitoring progress and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Support coordination across stakeholders and partners.


4. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Support engagement with diverse stakeholders including think tanks, policymakers, and partners.
  • Translate complex research into clear, compelling narratives for internal and external audiences.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and communication outputs.


  • Qualifications & Experience


  1. Technical Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in Energy, Environmental Studies, International Relations, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in climate, energy, policy, or related domains.
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in international climate and energy policy and geopolitical dynamics.

  • Strong articulation and communication skills.
  • Inclination towards strategic thinking and teamwork.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
