At Energin, you won’t just build dashboards; you’ll own the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across our entire ecosystem—including our CRM, the E360 platform, and backend systems for energy tendering, billing, revenue, and analytics.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own End-to-End Data Quality: Maintain data integrity across CRM, E360, billing, and reporting systems by fixing root causes at the source, not just patching reports.
  • Own Data Governance: Serve as the single point of contact for data standards, maintain the data dictionary, and ensure compliance with Australian Privacy Principles and energy market rules.
  • Drive Cross-System Reconciliation: Reconcile customer, meter, contract, and revenue data across all platforms to ensure a single source of truth.
  • Leverage AI for Automation: Use AI tools daily to automate checks, profile data, write/validate SQL queries, and replace manual processes.
  • Deliver Dashboards & Insights: Build and maintain reliable Power BI reports to support tendering, billing, and strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate & Lead: Partner with sales, ops, finance, and engineering to translate data issues into business solutions with full end-to-end ownership.


What We’re Looking For

  • Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Data, Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce, or equivalent experience. (DAMA / CDMP certification is a bonus!)
  • Relevant Experience: 2+ years in a Data Analyst, Data Quality, or Data Governance role with proven ownership of multi-system data flows (CRM, operational platforms, and billing systems).
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • SQL & Analytics: Advanced SQL (window functions, cross-system reconciliation) and Power BI (dashboards, DAX, semantic models).
  • AI & Automation: Daily hands-on use of AI tools (Claude, Copilot) for code generation, analysis, and workflow automation.
  • Systems & Data Stack: Python for data profiling, CRM data models (Zoho or similar), Azure data services, and advanced Excel.
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience in energy, utilities, telco, or other high-volume/metered billing environments—along with exposure to tendering or revenue assurance—is highly desirable.
  • Governance Mindset: Hands-on experience establishing data dictionaries, definitions, ownership frameworks, and compliance standards.
