My client is an established Australian renewable energy business with a diverse project pipeline and plenty of momentum. With several projects progressing through key stages, they're growing their in-house legal team and looking for a Legal Counsel to join them on the journey.

What you'll be doing
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial and project agreements
- Advising on legal issues across different stages of the project lifecycle
- Supporting governance and compliance activities
- Providing legal research on matters relevant to the business
- Working with internal teams, external advisors and stakeholders, including on more complex negotiations
What you'll bring
- 2 to 7 years PQE, from private practice, in-house, or a combination of both
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, ideally in energy, infrastructure or construction
- Exposure to regulatory or compliance frameworks is a bonus
- Experience with government contracts will be well regarded
- Strong communication skills, sharp attention to detail, and comfort owning your work
- A low-ego, team-first approach and a genuine interest in renewables
