Why choose Eneco?
What You’ll Do
Most workplace architects spend their careers optimising for stability. This role asks for something rarer: the conviction to redesign how 4,000+ people across multiple countries work - and the rigour to make it last.
At Eneco, the modern workplace isn't a support function. It's critical infrastructure for Europe's energy transition. You'll set the architectural vision, own the platform, and build the foundation that makes everything else possible - from renewable energy engineers collaborating across borders to C-level decisions made on real-time data.
This is where technical mastery meets meaningful mission.
Is this about you?
This role suits someone who has grown past the point of needing a clear brief - who brings their own point of view on how things should work, and the credibility to get others to follow it.
This is where you’ll work
You'll join Eneco's Tech domain at a pivotal moment in our transformation - not to support operations, but to reshape them. Based at Rotterdam HQ with flexible hybrid working, you'll blend focused in-person collaboration with the freedom to work how you work best.
At Eneco, we're not just talking about the future - we're building it. Our One Planet strategy is one of Europe's boldest roadmaps to climate neutrality: radically electrifying energy systems, eliminating fossil fuels, and scaling solutions like green hydrogen and geothermal. Our CIO Leadership has assembled a team of builders, engineers, and visionaries who understand that digital innovation is inseparable from solving the climate crisis. This isn't a maintenance role. It's your chance to apply genuine technical mastery to one of the defining challenges of our time, inside a company that invests in sustainability, creativity, and your own growth.
What We Have To Offer
Here's what you get from us
Work Where Everyone Matters

You’re given the space to develop yourself and to do your work in a way that suits you. We believe that different perspectives, nationalities, and backgrounds make us stronger, which is why we foster an open, safe and inclusive culture. Naturally, we also prioritize a healthy work-life balance, flexible working hours, and the option to work from home when your role allows it. If you have a physical or sensory disability, we will work with you to find the right adjustments so you can perform your job well.
This is how you build your own future and a sustainable future at the same time. Together with 4,000 colleagues, each with their own talents and ideas, you work on our shared mission: speeding up the energy transition. We help customers become more sustainable faster, create innovative solutions, and seize new opportunities. Will you join us?
