Join eMarine – Delivering Energy Optimization Projects Onboard Vessels Worldwide

At eMarine, we help shipowners reduce fuel consumption, emissions and operating costs through advanced automation and energy optimization systems.

Our solutions optimize critical onboard systems such as HVAC, pumps and ventilation, and are installed on commercial vessels across the globe during both vessel operations and drydock projects.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Project Manager to join our Tallinn office and lead the successful delivery of international vessel projects from start to finish.

If you enjoy taking ownership, coordinating complex technical projects and working in an international environment, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of multiple vessel projects—from order handover through engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning to final documentation and project close-out.

You will work closely with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams, ensuring that every project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Every successful project contributes directly to reducing fuel consumption and emissions across the global shipping industry.

Your Responsibilities

You will:

  • Manage multiple international vessel projects simultaneously.
  • Plan and coordinate project execution from order intake to final delivery.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, logistics and onboard installation activities.
  • Work closely with electrical, automation and HVAC engineers.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets and resource planning.
  • Be the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure project documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Identify risks early and proactively resolve issues.
  • Contribute to continuously improving our project delivery processes.

Your Working Environment

You'll become part of an international organization where projects move quickly and every day is different.

Some projects are planned months in advance, while others require rapid coordination during vessel dockings or operational windows. Success comes from being organized, adaptable and confident in making decisions when priorities change.

You'll collaborate closely with:

  • Engineering teams
  • Customers (shipowners and operators)
  • Suppliers and subcontractors
  • Internal project managers
  • Service and commissioning engineers

We Are Looking For Someone Who
  • Has experience managing technical or industrial projects.
  • Enjoys coordinating multiple activities and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Is structured, proactive and solution-oriented.
  • Takes ownership and follows projects through to completion.
  • Communicates confidently in both English and Swedish.
  • Has strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Enjoys working in an international environment.

Meritorious Experience
  • Marine or maritime industry experience.
  • Experience with automation, electrical systems, HVAC or industrial installations.
  • Logistics or service project management.
  • Procurement, quotations and cost control.
  • ERP or project management systems.

What We Offer
  • A key role in a growing international technology company.
  • Exciting projects delivered onboard vessels around the world.
  • High level of responsibility and ownership.
  • Short decision-making paths and a collaborative culture.
  • Opportunity to influence how we develop our project management processes.
  • A highly skilled and committed team passionate about improving energy efficiency in shipping.
  • Excellent opportunities for professional development as the company continues to grow.
