Founding SDR
Electric trucks are coming to the roads, but keeping fleets charged efficiently is complex and expensive. We've built a charge management platform that helps logistics companies reduce costs and operate their electric fleets profitably. Our platform is live with customers across Europe. Now we're scaling.
We're looking for our first SDR to build our sales pipeline from scratch. You'll work directly with our co-founder to generate qualified opportunities that drive our growth. This is a founding role with equity and real ownership.
What You'll Do
Build Pipeline
- Outbound prospecting: Identify and reach out to logistics companies and fleet operators across Europe
- Research target accounts, find the right contacts, and craft personalized outreach
- Qualify inbound leads from our website, events, and partnerships
- Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and qualify fit
- Book qualified demos for our closing team
Partnerships & Events
- Identify and engage potential strategic partners (charging providers, fleet platforms, industry associations)
- Represent ELU at industry events and conferences across Europe
- Build relationships that create ongoing pipeline and business opportunities
Learn & Shape the Sales Function
- Shadow customer calls and negotiations to learn the full sales process
- Help refine messaging, targeting, and outreach strategies
- Establish sales processes and playbooks as the first sales hire
- Take on additional responsibilities as you grow and the company scales
Who You Are
Hungry and Self-Motivated
You're eager to build a career in B2B tech sales. You're driven by hitting targets, learning fast, and seeing results. Prior sales experience is valuable, but motivation and coachability matter more.
Resilient and Organized
You're comfortable with rejection and disciplined about follow-up. You manage your pipeline, stay on top of tasks, and don't need constant direction to stay productive.
Curious and Clear Communicator
You can learn complex topics (energy, logistics, fleet operations) and explain them simply. You ask good questions, listen well, and adapt your approach based on feedback.
Impact-Driven
You want to work on something meaningful. You're motivated by the opportunity to accelerate the transition to zero-emission transport.
We're Especially Excited If You Have
- Experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or business development
- Knowledge of logistics, fleet management, or energy sectors
- Experience in early-stage startups or fast-paced environments
- Comfort with networking and representing a company at events
Required:
- Fluency in German and English
- Other European languages (French, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Dutch) are a strong plus
- Based in Berlin or able to relocate
Compensation & Ownership
- Base Salary: €35,000 to €41,000 (depending on experience)
- Commission: Uncapped commission structure
- First-year total earnings: €42,000 to €50,000
- Top performers can earn significantly more
- Equity: Founding-level equity with standard 4-year vesting
- Benefits: 28 days vacation, modern equipment
- Location: Berlin office with flexible hybrid arrangement (2-3 days/week in office) and 30 days remote work
