Technical Subject Matter Expert (Climate Change, O&G)
Responsibilities:
Provide expert-level technical evaluation, validation, and advisory support on Climate Change services for the Oil & Gas and Energy industries. Responsible for reviewing technical deliverables, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulatory frameworks, and guiding project teams with subject-matter expertise.

- Review and validate climate-related technical reports, calculations, models, and assessments.
- Ensure alignment with global climate standards including GHG accounting, decarbonization, CCUS, ESG, carbon strategy, and net-zero frameworks.
- Provide technical guidance and thought leadership to internal teams and clients.
- Support project teams in identifying technical gaps and proposing corrective actions.
- Act as technical authority in client engagements, tender reviews, and solution design.
- Keep up to date with policy changes, emission regulations, and climate technologies relevant to the Energy sector.
- Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years experience in Climate Change services in the Oil & Gas / Energy industry.
- Minimum 5 years specifically in a technical delivery role related to Climate Change services.
- Strong knowledge of carbon policy, emissions measurement, energy transition and climate technology.
- Familiar with ISO standards, IPCC guidelines, carbon reporting frameworks, MRV, and climate risk assessments.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
