Senior Electrical Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer for one of our clients based in Fort Worth, Texas. Our client is a U.S. industrial manufacturer operating at the forefront of the clean energy and advanced materials sector, developing a new greenfield, high-tech manufacturing facility to support electrification and domestic supply-chain resilience.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a team of Electrical Engineers and Electrical Drafters, setting priorities, assigning tasks, reviewing deliverables, and supporting professional development.
· Provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, from concept design and procurement through construction, commissioning, and operational support.
· Manage and develop electrical system designs including low- and medium-voltage distribution, motor controls, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
· Oversee and approve detailed electrical documentation such as single-line diagrams, schematics, panel layouts, cable routing, and conduit schedules.
· Review and validate vendor and contractor submittals to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulatory standards.
· Support field engineering, construction, and commissioning activities, resolving technical issues during installation, testing, and startup.
· Drive implementation of power management, SCADA-integrated, and load-management systems to improve operational efficiency.
· Ensure all engineering deliverables meet expectations for quality, safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
· Mentor junior engineers and drafters through technical coaching, training, and career development support.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, controls, process, and OT teams to ensure seamless system integration.
· Champion electrical safety, risk mitigation, and adherence to engineering standards across all project phases.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
· 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership or supervisory role.
· Strong experience designing and supporting medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems in industrial or manufacturing environments.
· Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, SKM PowerTools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Extensive knowledge of electrical codes and standards including NEC, NESC, IEEE, IEC, OSHA, UL, and NRTL.
· Experience performing load studies, short-circuit analysis, arc flash studies, and protective coordination.
· Broad understanding of electrical, mechanical, process, and instrumentation system integration.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workloads, and deliver high-quality engineering documentation.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
