We are looking for a highly capable and driven Senior Software Engineer Intern to join our engineering team in building and scaling a production-grade energy intelligence platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges, working across the full stack, and deploying reliable systems in live production environments.
You will work closely with our core engineering team on modern web applications, backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and platform scalability initiatives powering next-generation energy and AI-driven solutions.

We are looking for a highly capable and driven Senior Software Engineer Intern to join our engineering team in building and scaling a production-grade energy intelligence platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges, working across the full stack, and deploying reliable systems in live production environments.
You will work closely with our core engineering team on modern web applications, backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and platform scalability initiatives powering next-generation energy and AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications
- Develop modern frontend interfaces using React.js and Next.js
- Build backend APIs and services using Node.js and Express.js
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs between frontend and backend systems
- Implement secure authentication and authorization workflows
- Deploy and maintain applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Configure and manage NGINX, Cloudflare, and production web servers
- Work with Linux-based environments and server-side operations
- Collaborate using Git-based workflows and engineering best practices
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
- Debug and resolve production issues efficiently
- Contribute to architecture discussions and engineering improvements
Must Have Skills
- Strong experience with React.js and Next.js
- Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js
- Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
- Good understanding of JWT authentication, OAuth flows, session management, and authorization systems
- Experience deploying applications on AWS
- Familiarity with NGINX, Cloudflare, and production server configurations
- Strong Linux and command-line experience
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience building scalable production systems
- Understanding of distributed systems and software architecture
- Knowledge of web application security best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Experience handling live production debugging and monitoring
- Exposure to infrastructure automation and cloud monitoring tools
- Hands-on experience working on real production systems
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure and scalable architectures
