Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Junior Industrial Automation Engineer to work on PLC development, industrial automation, embedded systems, EMS hardware, IoT communication systems, and HVAC automation solutions.

The role involves research, prototyping, field deployment, hardware validation, and development of intelligent industrial monitoring and automation systems for next-generation energy management platforms.

PLC Development & Industrial Automation

  • Develop, program, test, and deploy PLC-based control systems for industrial and commercial applications
  • Integrate PLCs with SCADA, EMS, BMS, and field devices

EMS Hardware Development & Optimization

  • Develop Energy Management System (EMS) hardware prototypes to improve cost efficiency, reliability, and communication performance
  • Design solutions to minimize communication downtime and enhance system availability
  • Evaluate and implement suitable communication architectures for industrial environments
  • Support field deployment and performance validation of EMS solutions

Research & Development – Embedded Systems and Communication Protocols

  • Conduct R&D activities on Raspberry Pi and ESP32-based embedded systems and IoT applications
  • Develop and implement industrial communication protocols including Modbus RTU/TCP
  • Design and integrate RS-485 to Ethernet communication gateways
  • Research, prototype, and deploy long-range wireless communication technologies including LoRaWAN, LoRa Mesh Networks, and Industrial Wireless Sensor Networks
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for industrial monitoring and automation applications

Standalone System Development

  • Design and develop standalone monitoring and control systems with integrated battery backup
  • Ensure compliance with specified battery life and charge-discharge cycle requirements
  • Optimize power consumption and system reliability for continuous operation
  • Perform hardware validation, testing, and lifecycle analysis

Wireless Temperature Monitoring & HVAC Automation

  • Develop wireless temperature monitoring sensors for HVAC applications
  • Design sensor networks for real-time environmental monitoring
  • Develop PLC/PI based control strategies for HVAC equipment optimization
  • Integrate temperature sensors with BMS, EMS, and cloud-based monitoring platforms
  • Support testing, calibration, and field deployment of HVAC automation solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation
  • Experience with ESP32, microcontrollers, and embedded firmware development
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols including Modbus RTU/TCP, RS-485, and Ethernet Communication
  • Experience with LoRaWAN, LoRa Mesh, or wireless IoT communication technologies
  • Understanding of HVAC systems and industrial control applications
  • Experience in hardware prototyping, testing, and deployment
  • Familiarity with battery management systems and low-power electronics
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
