About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated AI/ML Engineer & Data Analyst to join our team in building intelligent, data-driven energy management solutions.

This role combines data analytics, machine learning, AI engineering, and full-stack development to help develop scalable systems that process real-time energy and IoT data. You will work closely with engineering, product, and energy teams to build analytics dashboards, predictive models, and AI-powered applications for energy optimization and operational intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Insights

  • Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets from energy meters, IoT devices, building management systems, and operational platforms
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify energy consumption patterns, anomalies, optimization opportunities, and demand behaviour
  • Translate complex findings into actionable business insights
  • Support operational and strategic decision-making using data

Dashboards & Visualization

  • Develop interactive dashboards and reporting tools
  • Build visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Plotly, and Dash
  • Create analytics dashboards for energy monitoring, system performance, consumption trends, and forecasting insights

AI & Machine Learning Development

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for energy demand forecasting, predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and energy optimization
  • Work with large-scale real-time datasets
  • Improve model performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Support deployment and monitoring of AI systems in production environments

Full-Stack & Backend Development

  • Build and maintain scalable applications using the MERN stack
  • Develop backend APIs and microservices for analytics and AI integration
  • Integrate machine learning models into the Elements Energy Management Platform
  • Support development of real-time analytics pipelines

Data Engineering & Automation

  • Automate data pipelines and reporting workflows
  • Process and manage structured and unstructured datasets
  • Build reliable systems for continuous data ingestion and analytics
  • Work with databases and cloud-connected systems

Collaboration & Product Development

  • Work closely with product teams, software engineers, energy engineers, and analytics teams
  • Translate business and operational requirements into AI-driven solutions
  • Contribute to platform architecture and intelligent feature development

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields
  • 1–2 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data analytics, or full-stack development
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Strong experience with MERN Stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
  • Experience working with machine learning models and analytics systems
  • Strong knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and data preprocessing techniques
  • Experience with SQL and database management
  • Experience building REST APIs and backend services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Generative AI, LLMs, and NLP systems
  • Experience with time-series forecasting and predictive analytics
  • Familiarity with IoT systems, smart meters, and energy data platforms
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, MLOps workflows, and cloud platforms
  • Experience building scalable data pipelines and real-time analytics systems
  • Exposure to computer vision or advanced AI systems
