Electric Ireland Superhomes is a growing organisation delivering sustainable retrofit solutions across Ireland. Our technology stack includes Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Business Central, and Power Platform. We aim to streamline operations, improve customer experience, and enable data-driven decision-making.


This position is for a fixed term of one year, offering a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a significant impact within our team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Power Pages sites integrated with Dynamics 365 CE.
  • Customise and extend Dynamics 365 CE and Business Central functionality using AL language.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and other cloud-based applications using APIs, Dataverse, and Power Automate.
  • Develop scalable solutions using PowerApps (Model-Driven Apps).
  • Implement security models, data governance, and ensure compliance with GDPR.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions aligned with best practices.
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and code for maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimisation.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Pages and Model-Driven Apps.
  • Strong proficiency in Dynamics 365 CE development and Business Central customisation using AL language.
  • Hands-on experience with API integration and connecting Dynamics 365 to external cloud services.
  • Solid understanding of Dataverse, Power Automate, and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Experience with REST APIs, OData, and Webhooks.
  • Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) in Power Platform and Dynamics environments.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and automated deployment pipelines.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience with Azure Functions, CI/CD pipelines, and solution layering best practices.
  • Functional knowledge of finance processes and job management within Business Central.
  • Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and analytics.
  • Experience with Jet Reports for Business Central reporting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with platform changes.

 

Location

Electric Ireland Superhomes head office is based in Thurles. This role will be a blend of office based and remote working.
