We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. You will design and build software systems that power our factory and commercial electrolysis plants through real-time and historical data applications.. You will work Onsite/Hybrid at our San Jose CA office, reporting into the Director of Software Engineering.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable software systems and data pipelines that support real-time and historical analysis of electrolysis system and manufacturing data
  • Develop backend services using Node.js, Express, and GraphQL to serve industrial and manufacturing applications
  • Build data pipelines to ingest and process IoT and time-series data using Python, SQL, and tools such as Kinesis, Glue, ECS, and Iceberg
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud deployments using AWS CDK
  • Build intuitive, data-rich frontend interfaces in React and TypeScript to support engineering, factory, and operations workflows
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance, data accuracy, and reliability across production environments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of professional experience building backend or full-stack software systems
  • Strong experience working with cloud services and data pipelines using AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, Kinesis, Glue, ECS, RDS)
  • Familiarity with Python and working with scientific or industrial datasets (e.g., time-series, sensor data), especially in applications that interface with real-world hardware
  • Ability to collaborate closely with engineers, scientists, and manufacturing teams working with physical systems and technical data

$182,000 - $214,000 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.
